Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely escape to this hotel on the island, which offered direct access to the stunning Cherai beach. The staff was incredibly attentive, especially the hotel owner, who made our dining experience special. The only downside was that the dining options could use some improvement. Overall, a delightful stay with memorable moments.
Staying at this retreat felt like spending time with a lovely Indian Auntie. The serene atmosphere away from bustling tourist hotspots made it such a relaxing getaway. The food was divine and entirely authentic, while the staff exuded warmth and charm. However, the meals do require advance ordering, which some may find inconvenient. All in all, it's a wonderful experience for anyone looking to escape and soak in the beauty of the Arabian Sea.
My stay at 36 Palms was quite a mixed bag. On the one hand, the rooms were clean and the staff was incredibly gracious, making our two-day stay enjoyable overall. However, the hotel was far from what I expected in terms of a true yoga retreat—if that's what you're looking for, I would definitely recommend seeking other options. The dining experience was also a bit hit-or-miss, with limited choices available. Overall, it feels like a nice ocean-side hotel but falls short in several areas.
My stay at 36 Palms was a mix of wonderful scenery and some frustrating experiences. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, which made relaxation easier, especially with the calming sound of the sea. The location is great for a peaceful getaway, offering lovely views and nearby dining options. However, the dining experience was a letdown with limited menu options, and the service sometimes felt disorganized, especially around the yoga offerings.
